A6 Enhanced Time Management Week View Version 2

I originally adapted my original A5 layout to work with A6 format. However after using this layout for a few months I have found that the reduced size didn't quite work as well as the A5 version for various reasons.

This is the original version which is still available to download on our Diary Inserts Page. You will find versions for 2016 and 2017 there.

This is my updated version.

So the changes I have made are as follows. The daily tasks were moved across to the left hand page.

On the right hand page I expanded each section, moving the daily tasks has resulted in an increased number of slots for tasks.

I've also labelled the Notes and Communications entries so that the entries can be cross-referenced in the daily task entries as you assign them through each week.

I looked at my entries in the previous version and realised that I could reduce the width of the appointments column to be able to include the daily tasks.

You can download and print finished versions for this year from our diary inserts page.  If using the PDF files be sure to set it to print at full size as explained here for A6 size paper.

But if you want to use this layout as a starting point for your own personalised creation, then you'll need to download the base Word file and the Excel data source.

This second variation  does away with the daily tasks and adds in some more appointment slots in their place. The right hand page remains as the previous version.

We are making the design available today as ready to download and print sets for 2017. These come as Word documents or PDFs. If using the PDF files be sure to set it to print at full size as explained here for A6 size paper.

But if you want to use this layout as a starting point for your own personalised creation, then you'll need to download the base Word file and the Excel data source.

When you've made all the changes you like to the template, you can perform a mail merge to create your own insert for any period you like. Check out our Free Diary Inserts link if you want more information on how to do this, including videos.

Once again a big thank you to Ray at 'My Life All In One Place' for his hard work and co-operation with helping to create and support us with all these inserts.

  3. Many thanks to you and Ray for providing these much needed A6 planner files. Both versions will provide us with excellent alternatives to the few offerings for this size.
    Many thanks, gentlemen!

  4. What is the origin of the A6 size? Many people discuss this size recently online because they were aware of it from the internet.

    1. Read Wikipedia on paper size:

    2. Thank you for the link. I presumed it was not a size of the U.S. I like the Filofax A5 Time Management weekly insert and your versions. Except for A5 sheets I do not use paper or ruled space of a regulated or common size.

My original weekly format requires 7.5 mm. ruled lines of a bound notebook. This uncommon size is not on the product and many items are encased in plastic. I found a product a customer disliked because of the 8 mm. space. She could not remove the plastic to view the page before the purchase. I thought that her measurement could be incorrect. I bought the journal and the space is 7.5 mm.
